"Weigh to Health" Program: Medication
The professional
staff from Dr. Chris Rose's office understand that society places
great value on physical appearance. The 5 billion dollar a year
diet industry is filled with companies and practitioners who
offer quick success that often can lead to failure, frustration,
and relapse back into even more of a negative lifestyle.
Medication used in
effective treatment for weight management must be combined with
an overall lifestyle change that truly alters the person's view
of themselves and the world around them. We understand that
medication can be quite helpful in setting the stage for
positive life change but we strive to create a balanced view of
such agents of change.
In describing the
most commonly used medications below we have included
information that empowers our patients to partner with our staff
as to which agent is right for you. After enrolling in the
clinic program you will meet with Dr. Rose and review which
medication will be used in your overall program. Following this
meeting you will receive monthly follow ups regarding the
medication and treatment effectiveness.

with diet only.
Side effects: As your body adjusts to the
medication, it may cause dry mouth, sleeplessness,
